Seriously.
I’m reading a book for my upcoming history exam, it’s about the everyday lives and beliefs of early medieval peasants in Bohemia. There were chapters on everything from housing, farming, clothing, to the working day and division of labor.
But now it’s getting really interesting: protection against demons! And here it is, the Winchester classic – iron, salt, covering your face with a “mask” (remember Samhain in season 4?). Also, apparently one of the good ways of hiding from a demon was confusing it by disguising yourself as a member of the opposite sex. So naturally, the image of a pissed off Dean Winchester in drag comes to my mind. All grouchy and growly, muttering under his breath something like “Why isn’t Sam doing this? He’s the one with the long hair and emo tendencies…” Meanwhile Sam stands aside, observing from the distance and being all scientific and serious (only not really).
