This Is How it Ends?

"We leave our guys in a situation they've never faced before, which after nine seasons, it kind of narrows it down a little bit.” (Andrew Dabb, source)

Well, let me say this. I got to the last script, and just went ‘Oh. Wow. Oh wow. They went there.’ And that’s not something I often say.” (Jensen Ackles, source)

Guys, I think I figured it out, I know what’s gonna happen in the season 9 finale!

So, the finale is supposed to be shocking and revolutionary, something we haven’t seen before. You know what’s gonna happen? THEY ARE GOING TO WIN.

Crowley is killed and the gates of Hell are closed for good and all the monsters in the whole world are somehow defeated. No more things that go bump in the night.

Metatron is killed and Cas with the help of the Winchesters reopens Heaven and all the angels go back upstairs and stop messing with the people here on Earth.

Sam and Dean (who are brothers again, not just partners) both find themselves nice, normal girls and they both get married and have kids and barbecues and live happily ever after.

[Edited to add my boyfriend's contribution to the topic] Oh, and Sam finally remembers to bring Dean pie!

…okay, so probably not. But you gotta admit nothing could be as shocking as this.

LMFAO Especially the pie, bless your boyfriend. Now that would be really shocking.

And the next nine seasons are gonna be domestic Winchesters and their fight with pubescent kids and remembering wedding days.

Yeah, that pie part was pure genius. It's so awesome that my boyfriend not only tolerates my passion for SPN but actually enjoys the show too. (And Dean's his favorite character, which is especially awesome since he knows how much I love Dean.)

Yeah, the Winchester brothers facing the great evils of this world like parent-teacher conferences or their daughters' first boyfriends... now that's what I call real drama! :)

You're absolutely right. Nothing would be as shocking as that :P hehe

Too bad the writers aren't that nice to our boys. :P *sigh*

Personally, I think this place they "went" that they've never gone before? Is Dean-as-Big-Bad. :/ He's never been there before, even though Sam and Cas both have. And with Dean as the "heart" of the show, it would definitely be a really bold move to make.

I... kinda hope they do :P

Yeah, I think Dean's gonna be the Big Bad too. I just hope they do it right.
